A-HA! I did it! I took a few more steps into Photoshop AND redid Red Mage!

I redesigned his outfit again, because the one I made before was sux0rz and I found myself putting some details in that brought me around this way. Frankly I think it falls in line much more with JLD's real thing but... M-hm.

Story time! Take a seat.
Fifty-three Bizarres paid a foul-tempered Red Mage a visit. The Superior Command insisted he would be a grand asset to their crusade.
Three creatures stood two minutes post-convergence: two of the 'wiser' Bizarres, and the far-underestimated Red Mage himself.
"One" was feeling its last moments in the agonizing blaze of the sorcerer's inferno.
The "other", well, let's just say you can't feel things without a head.
The "other", as we will consider its nameless being, teetered on its last control of its unnatural body. Red Mage brought his fist back around from an incinerated Bizarre to meet forcefully with the half-living remains of the last Bizarre of the army.
